أعلنت شركة مايكروسوفت عن بدء السماح للطلاب والمدرسين من خارج الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بالتقدم بطلب للحصول على رخصة مجانية لاستعمال حزمة “اوفيس” Office المكتبية.
وقالت مايكروسوفت أن ملايين من الطلاب والمدرسين حول العالم مؤهلين بداية من يوم الاثنين، 23 فبراير، للتقدم والتسجيل في خدمة اوفيس 365 للتعليم، Office 365 Education، لاستخدام البرمجية المكتبية مجانا سواء عبر الإنترنت أو على حواسبهم.
ويحتاج الطلاب للتحقق من كونهم مؤهلين لاستخدام الخدمة إلى حساب بريد إلكتروني مرتبط بالمؤسسة التعليمية التابعين لها، ومن ثم القيام بالتسجيل عبر الرابط office.com/getoffice365، كما يحتاج أعضاء هيئة التدريس أيضا إلى بريد إلكتروني رسمي خاص بمؤسساتهم التعليمية قبل التسجيل عبر الرابط office.com/teachers.
وأشارت مايكروسوفت إلى أن التسجيل في خدمة اوفيس 365 للتعليم المجانية سيتيح للطلاب وللمدرسين الحصول على أخر نسخة من اوفيس، المتضمنة برامج مثل وورد وإكسل وباوربوينت ووان نوت، إضافة إلى مساحة تخزين مجانية على خدمة “ون درايف” السحابية تصل إلى 1 تيرابايت.
ويستطيع المستخدمون المسجلون في الخدمة المجانية تثبيت أحدث إصدار من اوفيس على عدة حواسب أو أجهزة نقالة، تصل إلى خمسة حواسب سواء أجهزة ماك أو تلك العاملة بنظام ويندوز، وذلك إضافة إلى خمسة أجهزة نقالة سواء هواتف ذكية أو حواسب لوحية.
يذكر أن الخدمة المجانية ستدعم اللغة العربية والعبرية في منتصف مارس المقبل، حسبما أعلنت مايكروسوفت، والتي أشارت أيضا إلى أن الخدمة غير متاحة للتسجيل الذاتي من قبل الطلاب أو المدرسين في الصين على عكس بقية الدول حول العالم.

The free service will support Arabic and Hebrew Language in mid-March, as Microsoft has announced, and which also pointed out that the service is not available for self-registration by students or teachers in China, unlike the rest of the countries around the world.
